The Salvation Army - Macquarie Lodge, Heritage Remediation Work

Emora was engaged to complete a comprehensive structural remediation effort focused on the original structure

Scope of Works

The project involved a comprehensive structural remediation effort focused on the original structure, including the replacement of timber beams and roofing components. The scope of work encompassed multiple tasks, such as scaffold erection, temporary verandah propping, deconstruction of dilapidated elements like the roof, gutter, and handrails, as well as V joint lining and decking. New milled pine timberwork, steel plates, brackets, beams, and decorative features were thoughtfully supplied and installed to ensure both structural integrity and aesthetic continuity. The project also featured the installation of matching decking, roof sheets for the front hip and valley section, and a complete painting overhaul. Additionally, electrical upgrades were performed to enhance the external facade.

This comprehensive project showcases our commitment to the meticulous restoration and improvement of heritage structures.
