Carpenter – Projects

Location - Caringbah NSW Role Type - Full time

Reporting into the Site Manager, you will manage with the delivery of seamless, high quality construction projects. This will include managing plans and project timelines, meeting all deadlines and having a focus on Health and Safety throughout. The work is exciting and varied, from multiple smaller-scale to multi-million dollar projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Client facing, lead point of contact for Site Staff
  • Manage time allocation and scheduling
  • Prepare for upcoming works by understanding client requirements
  • Provide all tools and ensure they are tested and tagged
  • Communicate daily with your Team of tradesmen, Project Manager and/or Service Co-ordinators as needed
  • Maintain health and safety by participating in Toolbox talks, WHS meetings, COVID-19 safety plans
  • Complete administration, reporting, onsite documents and forms as required, including pre-commencement photos and completion photos

What you will bring

  • To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Fully completed trade certifications i.e. Cert III in Carpentry (must have)
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Multi-Skilled Carpenter
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
  • Neat and tidy professional appearance, meeting the company uniform standards
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, communication and stakeholder management
  • Competency with using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, PPT, Outlook), and use of project/construction management software e.g. Procore would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be reliable and accountable for yourself and the team
  • Professional and trustworthy behaviour and attitude, in line with our company culture

Carpenter – Maintenance and Minor Works

Location - Caringbah NSW Role Type - Full Time

Reporting into the Site Manager, you will manage with the delivery of seamless, high quality maintenance and minor works projects. This will include managing plans and project timelines, meeting all deadlines and having a focus on Health and Safety throughout.

Project Manager

Location - Caringbah NSW Role Type - Full time permanent

The Project Manager will assist the Senior Project Manager with the delivery of a range of projects, from concept through to completion. This will include developing an understanding of our clients’ operational needs and achieving the company’s goals and targets through the delivery of cost-effective outcomes.

Hours: 7:00AM start, 38-42 hours/week

Remuneration: $90,000 to $100,000

Main Responsibilities

  • Carrying out site visits to understand clients’ needs and taking notes of essential requirements

  • Provide project suggestions in consultation with the Senior Project Manager and ensure multiple sub-contractor quotations to always provide the best value for money options to the client

  • Account manage current and future clients to ensure open communication, feedback and provide a personalised approach

  • Understand and complete the quotation process for each client, always following up with a phone call to ensure effective stakeholder management

  • Liaise with the Helpdesk and Site Manager to Schedule resources as needed

  • Participating in Toolbox talks, WHS meetings as required and reporting any near misses, safety breaches or security breaches

  • Communicating daily with Site Managers the team, including tasks and daily programs

  • Complete all administration work as needed for each Task/Project in line with the company standards, including reporting, spreadsheets and weekly agenda

  • Ensure high-quality completion of all Tasks/Projects, including handover documents and completion of work emailed to the client

What you will bring

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a project manager, ideally within the construction industry

  • Degree in Construction and qualifications in Project Management such as Cert IV or equivalent

  • Drivers license

  • Competency with using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Neat and tidy professional appearance, meeting the company uniform standards

  • Professional, reliable and trustworthy behaviour and attitude, in line with our company culture
